Indonesian Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Trengorno said on December 26 that Indonesia will reform the current marine fishing approval system next year, from the original issuance of fishing vessel fishing permits to the issuance of fishing quotas
, according to CNN News Indonesia on December 27, 2022.
This is also one of Indonesia's
important measures to develop the blue economy.
If the plan is approved and signed by the president in recent weeks, the new policy is expected to be implemented
in January.
