In the past 20 years, more and more people have suffered from motor dysfunction due to pathological conditions such as aging, traumatic accidents, natural disasters or spinal cord injuries or cerebrovascular accidents.
Walking exercises are usually larger than other exercises and are greatly affected by the environment.
Therefore, this article applies fNIRS-BCI to the study of self-regulation intention during walking.

Traditional SP-BCIs decode the intention of self-regulation from the resting state, while BCIs require a lot of time to train the participants and build models within the subjects.
