Iceland TV reported on December 27 that according to the latest data from the Agricultural Consulting Center , the number of horses exported from Iceland this year hit a record high, with a total of 3,341 horses, an increase of more than 1,000 horses from last year and 500 horses more than the historical record (1996).

Among them, the number of female horses exported is the largest, with 1,554 horses; there are 1,426 steers and 361 stallions

These horses are sold to 20 countries in Europe and North America, with Germany selling the most with 1,477 horses
