    Recently, IPEC was commissioned to conduct a full corrosion assessment of a 610 mm OD, 12 mm wall thickness API 5L X 52 gas pipeline in Cork, Irela.


     

    In early 2021, IPEC invested in a professional-grade portable white light 3D scanner Go!SCAN SPARK and a pipeline integrity assessment management software Pipecheck, which can accurately measure corrosi.


     

     

    James Murphy, Operations Manager at IPEC, explained: “While this project could have been completed using our existing technology, the quality of the resulting data obtained using Creaform’s system equipment was much high.
