On September 14, Hisun Pharmaceuticals issued an announcement stating that Hisun Pharmaceuticals had received the "Drug Registration Certificate" for insulin aspart injection approved and issued by the National Medical Products Administration on September 13, 2021, and was officially approved for production.

Insulin aspart is a fast-acting analogue of human insulin, designed to control hyperglycemia caused by meals in diabetic patients requiring insulin treatment.
