There were 42 new cured and discharged cases on the same day, 1,039 close contacts who were released from medical observation, and 3 more severe cases than the previous day

There are 883 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case) and 3 suspected cases

As of 24:00 on February 20, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there were 1,724 confirmed cases (including 10 severe cases), 101,491 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 38 new asymptomatic infections, including 23 imported cases and 15 local cases (6 in Jiangsu, 5 in Wuxi, 1 in Suzhou; 3 in Sichuan; 2 cases in Chengdu; 2 cases in Heilongjiang, both in Jixi City; 2 cases in Shanghai, both in Minhang District; 1 case in Guangdong, in Shenzhen; 1 case in Yunnan, in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture); 27 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (26 cases imported from abroad); 686 cases of asymptomatic infections were still under medical observation (572 cases imported from abroad)

A total of 42,554 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
