Health Commission: 24 new confirmed cases and 15 local cases

From 0-24:00 on June 2, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 24 new confirmed cases, including 9 imported cases (3 in Shanghai, 2 in Guangdong, 2 in Sichuan, Beijing 1 case, 1 case in Fujian), 15 local cases (all in Guangdong); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

6 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, 507 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 1 more severe cases than the previous day.

There are currently 293 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 2 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on June 2, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 364 confirmed cases (including 7 severe cases), 86,170 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 18 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 13 imported from abroad and 5 domestically (all in Guangdong); 4 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (no imported from abroad) On the same day, 21 cases were released from medical observation (19 cases imported from abroad); 373 cases of asymptomatic infections were still under medical observation (335 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 21,288 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
