From 0-24 o'clock on May 29, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 11 newly confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases (5 in Shanghai, 2 in Fujian, 1 in Inner Mongolia, and 1 in Guangdong).
On the same day, 10 new cases were cured and discharged, and 609 close contacts were released from medical observation.
There are currently 295 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 3 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on May 29, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 319 confirmed cases (including 4 severe cases), 86,117 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 22 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 9 imported cases and 13 local cases (all in Guangdong); no cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day; medical observation was lifted on the same day 13 Cases (10 cases imported from abroad); 412 cases of asymptomatic infections still under medical observation (363 cases imported from abroad).
A total of 19,694 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
