Life science On March 23, 2021, Guo Xiaohuan’s team from the Institute of Immunology, Tsinghua University School of Medicine published an online publication entitled "Gut microbial metabolites facilitate anticancer therapy efficacy by modulating cytotoxic CD8+ T cell immunity" in Cell Metabolism, a journal of Cell Press.
"The research paper reported that butyric acid, a metabolite of intestinal microbes, can increase the efficacy of anti-tumor drugs by enhancing the immune response of CD8+ T cells.
Cell Press's WeChat public account interpreted the paper, aiming to share the research results and some future prospects with the majority of researchers.
