Content Introduction Chinese Abstract: Summary: Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles that contain various biologically active components such as protein, nucleic acid, carbohydrates and lipids.
These components will vary with the cell type and physiological state.
In recent years, some studies have shown that not only exosomes can provide new non-invasive diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for a variety of tumors including bladder cancer, but the structure of the exosomal lipid bilayer membrane can make it a therapeutic application.
Ideal carrier.
Exosomes have the characteristics of high abundance, good stability, strong tissue specificity, and wide distribution in body fluids, and they can be secreted by a variety of cells in different states.
Therefore, exosomes have great potential as biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of bladder cancer.
This article reviews the role of exosomes in the occurrence and development of bladder cancer and its research status, and focuses on the clinical application of exosomes in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of bladder cancer.
