China Import and Export Fair Hall (Guangzhou, China); Booth No. 11.2A41; Date: May 21-24Guangzhou, China - May 21, 2019 - BASF will soon open three innovation centers in the Asia Pacific region, located in Shanghai, China, Tokyo, Japan, and Mumbai, India. The Innovation Center aims to bring together customers and BASF experts to turn creative concepts into innovative solutions.

BASF Innovation Center is equipped with state-of-the-art workshop facilities and interactive material displays, and provides resources to help customers discover, understand and use BASF materials, create new products, improve products and solutions. Customers can explore a wide range of materials with interactive digital tools and participate in creative and material consulting workshops. They can also learn about trend reports, learn about material models, and participate in various design activities. They will also work closely with BASF technical experts in design and development, using computer-aided engineering for simulation tests and advanced prototyping support, all of which can be performed at BASF's Innovation Center.

In addition, BASF also presented two collaborative projects at CHINAPLAS 2019 International Rubber Show: a physical-sized model room designed to showcase the future of the construction industry through the use of sustainable materials; and sportswear made from BASF materials that combine fashion with functionality.
