Recently, Master Bond developed a two-component epoxy system resin, EP40Med resin, which combines toughness and low stretching moulds while still having a high bonding shear strength.
this flexible epoxy resin has an elongation rate of 80-90%, a tie shear strength of 1,600-1,800psi and a low stretching module of 25,000-50,000psi. It complies with ISO 10993-5 testing and is therefore considered cytotoxic
