[China Epoxy Resin Industry Online] November 18, 2004, a few days ago, Pan Derun, vice chairman of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, said at the second press conference held by the Organizing Committee of the "Seventh International Chemical Industry Exhibition", The five major issues of coal, electricity, and transportation supply shortages will have an adverse impact on the future development of the national petroleum and chemical industry.
He said that although the economic performance of the national petroleum and chemical industry in the first three quarters of 2004 has reached the highest level in history, the five major issues cannot be accommodated.
Ignored issues will adversely affect the future development of the industry.

Pan Derun pointed out that although the economic performance of the petroleum and chemical industries was good from January to September, if some problems are not resolved, it will have an adverse impact on the future development of the industry.
