SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) -- Exports of Korean chili sauce surged 35.2 percent year-on-year to $50.93 million in 2020, according to food industry statistics released by the Korea Agricultural and Aquatic Food Distribution Commune (aT) on Monday.
By export target, exports to the United States (26.5 per cent), China (17.3 per cent), Japan (10.3 per cent) accounted for a relatively large share, while exports to Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand (up 113.2 per cent) and the Philippines (55.8 per cent) increased strongly.
