Excellent high temperature and high humidity resistance adhesive resin - LuCure8674.

UV adhesive with high efficiency, environmental protection, energy saving and so on in the adhesive industry more and more attention, involved in the application of more and more fields. Runo Chemical has also developed a number of characteristic products for different applications of UV adhesives, such as FSP3897, FSP3906, FSP8672 and so on. In order to meet some of the high requirements of the application, we are also constantly working hard to develop and improve products, in the recent completion of product upgrades, the introduction of a two-function polyurethane acrylic-LuCure8674, the resin specifically developed for plastic substrate structural bonding .
Runo Chemical Technology Center made a series of detailed tests on the resin, the formula uses resin with a small amount of monomer, appropriate amount of trigger, mainly to investigate the resin curing speed, plastic bonding strength, cohesion, compatible, high temperature and high humidity and other properties. , bonding strength
bonding strength is the stress required when the adhesive system is broken, is an important indicator of adhesive technology. In the experiment, we applied the glue layer of the resin LuCure8674 between the transparent PC and the PC, PC and PVC, and bonded it. After UV curing, the PC adhesive PC shear strength can reach 9.2MPa and pc stickYPVC shear strength can reach 8.5MPa. From the experimental data, it can be seen that LuCure8674 has excellent plastic bonding strength.

experiment, we will LuCure8674 as the main body of UV glue into the dumbbell mold, UV curing, the formation of glue strip. A series of test data are obtained from the pull test of the strip, the results of which are shown in the table below. The FSP8788 has an elongity rate of about 200%, while its tensile strength can reach 32MPa, strong cohesion and excellent tenacity.
3. High temperature and high humidity
With the development of adhesive technology, the performance requirements of many applications for adhesives are getting higher and higher, and high temperature and humidity resistance is one of the very important test indicators. Many adhesive resins on the market have a high initial bonding strength, however, after boiling or high temperature and humidity testing, its bonding strength has dropped significantly, and even the adhesive layer whitening or direct shedding. LuCure8674 itself has better hydrophobicity, a water absorption rate of about 1.8%, and a high conversion rate of two keys. The mature formulation system with LuCure8674 as the main body tested 1000h at 85 degrees C/85% RH, with no change in the glue layer and a slight decrease in bonding strength. In the test of the performance of boiling water, the glue layer will not appear the phenomenon of fog whitening. A series of tests have shown that the LuCure8674 has outstanding high temperature and humidity resistance to meet the needs of a wide range of high-end applications.
, compatible
many UV adhesive resins have some compatible problems, and resin or monosome compatible is the problem of fogging, transparency decline. LuCure8674 is compatible with a variety of monosomes (e.g. IBOA, THFA, ACMO, etc.), and is compatible with most acrylic resins, the system is clear and transparent after mutual dissolution, there will be no turbidity, layering and other phenomena.
5, curing speed
many good toughness, high elongation rate of adhesive resins have the problem of slow curing speed, low cross-link density, and LuCure8674 has a good reaction activity, in 500mJ/cm2 energy can be dried, and has a high double-bond conversion rate, can meet the traditional mercury lamp and LED light source curing requirements, has a very wide construction window.
