Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common malignant tumor of the head and neck, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is the second most common tumor
    .

The palatine tonsils are the most common anatomical parts of the head and neck SCC and NHL

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common malignant tumor of the head and neck, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is the second most common tumor

As a non-invasive imaging technique, radiomics can extract high-dimensional data from conventional digital medical imaging and has been successfully applied to the differential diagnosis of some head and neck tumors .

Recently, published in the E uropean a journal Radiology research to develop and validate a based on enhanced CT (CECT) images including radiology group characteristics and clinical factors of radiation genomics nomogram previous figure for SCC and palatine tonsil surgery NHL Differential diagnosis , provides radiological support for the patient treatment plan .

The present study were recruited from two clinical centers 135 SCC or pathological diagnosis of NHL patients, the patients are divided into a training set (n = 94; SCC = 50 , NHL = 44) and an external validation set (n = 41; SCC = 22, NHL = 19)

Finally, 11 features were selected to construct radioomics features

As a method for non-invasive and quantitative, the present radiological research group developed in nomograms can be used as identification palatine tonsil SCC and reliable diagnostic tool in NHL
