Recently, a study published in the journal European Radiology proved that the spleen volume (SV) measured by preoperative CT images is related to the PHLF and overall survival (OS) of HCC patients after HR, providing new opportunities for clinical screening of HCC patients suitable for surgical treatment.
This study included 317 patients with very early/early HCC who underwent preoperative CT scan and HR surgery between January 2010 and December 2016.
