Observational studies suggest that sleep time and a lot of medsci.

Recently, Eur Heart J, an authoritative journal in the cardiovascular field, published a research article.
The researchers analyzed 404044 participants in the UK biobank and assessed the causal relationship between 12 cardiovascular diseases and genetic variants associated with continuous, short (≤6 hours) and long (≥9 hours) sleep time.
Linear MR analysis showed that after multiple corrections, the genetically predicted sleep time was negatively correlated with hypertension, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary embolism and chronic ischemic heart disease (P<0.
Myocardial infarction
This study shows that genetically predicted short sleep time is a potential risk factor for several cardiovascular diseases, while genetically predicted long sleep time is unlikely to be a causal risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
