EU conducts anti-dumping partial interim review on monosodium glutamate originating in China

On January 24, 2022, the European Commission decided to carry out a partial temporary review of anti-dumping measures on imports of monosodium glutamate originating in China , in order to avoid non-EU member states from dumping imported goods to the EU .
The anti-dumping part of the interim review involves two Chinese exporters, namely Tongliao (Tongliao) Meihua Group and Hebei Meihua (HebeiMeihua) MSG Group Co.
, Ltd.
The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 .
Under normal circumstances, the investigation will be completed within 12 months, up to a maximum of 15 months from the publication of the notification .
