At the annual meeting of the National Coatings and Pigments Standardization Technical Committee held in Guangzhou on September 21, Zhang Junzhi, chairman of the Coating Standards Committee and director of the National Coating Engineering Technology Research Center, pointed out that the "Eleventh Five-Year" coating industry standardization development plan will increase Adopt international standards, speed up the revision of national standards, formulate and improve the basic standard system for low-pollution coatings, strengthen the standardization of high-tech products, and fully reflect that enterprises are the main body of standardization work and give play to their enthusiasm for participating in standardization work.
The meeting pointed out that the key tasks of the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" coating industry standardization work: First, to carry out research on the low-pollution standard system of Chinese coatings, and to strengthen the research on basic standards for the determination of harmful substances.

The second is to accelerate the adoption of international standards, strengthen the transformation of international standards, and increase the rate and degree of standard adoption.
It is planned to revise all existing national standards that have adopted obsolete international standards within 5 years, adopt the latest current international standards and strive to adopt them equally.
