Recently, researchers from the Clinical College of Jining Medical College published a paper to observe the effect of Ginkgo biloba extract on laser-induced choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in rats The results showed that the formation of CNV in rats could be reduced by intraperitoneal injection of EGb761 The longer the time of administration, the better the effect This article was published in the 11th issue of International Journal of ophthalmology in 2013 60 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal group, model group, experimental group and normal saline group Except the normal group, all the other groups were treated with krypton laser photocoagulation to make CNV model The model group did not do any treatment The experimental group was injected with extract of Ginkgo biloba (EGb761) every day after photocoagulation, and the normal saline group was injected with physiological salt water every day after photocoagulation After 7, 14 and 21 days of photocoagulation, the rats in each group were examined by fundus angiography to observe the leakage of CNV Then the rats in each group were killed immediately, chorioretinal sections were made, and the structures of retina and choroid and CNV were observed after he staining The results of fluorescein angiography showed that there was no leakage of choroid in normal rats, and the leakage of choroid in each group was slight at 7 days The leakage of choroid in model group and normal saline group was obvious at 14 and 21 days, and the leakage of choroidal fluorescein in experimental group was significantly less than that in corresponding model group and normal saline group (P < 0.05) The preservation of retina and choroid structure in experimental group was better than that in model group.
