Last year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the preparation of the Action Plan for Volatile Organic Reduction in Key Industries, which proposes to reduce VOC emissions in industrial industries by more than 3.3 million tons by 2018 from 2015, reducing the use of solvents and additives such as benzene, toluene, xylene, dmethylamine (DMF) by more than 20%, and the proportion of low (no) VOC green coating products by more than 60%. It can be seen that the country will continue to increase environmental supervision of the coatings manufacturing industry, including industrial areas, paint enterprises will also face more and more standardized market environment, those environmental protection standards, backward production capacity, non-competitive small and medium-sized enterprises will be closed down in bulk.
