Piezoelectric ceramics are an important functional material for electromechanical conversion
Recently, Professor Dong Shuxiang's research group from the School of Materials Science and Engineering and his collaborators, Lecturer Bian Lang from Harbin Institute of Technology (co-corresponding author), and Professor Li Yangqun from Tsinghua University, successfully prepared Mn-doped PNN-PZT-based piezoelectric through defect engineering.

In addition, the research group also proposed a magneto-mechanical-electric coupling energy harvester with variable stiffness cantilever beam structure based on PMNN-PZT ceramics

In a real environment, such as a car driving on the road, the rotation of its wheels and bearings will excite weak vibrations and weak magnetic fields at the same time

This achievement was recently published in Advanced Functional Materials .
