Recently, Shi Mingzhen and Bai Wenli from Yuxi food and Drug Inspection Institute of Yunnan Province published a paper to determine the content of Pueraria medicinal materials or Pueraria extract in health food It is suggested that HPLC be used for the determination of Pueraria in health food This paper was published in the first issue of China Health and nutrition (mid ten issue) in 2013 The content of Puerarin was determined by HPLC and total flavonoids by UV The method of determination of total flavonoids by UV is quite different, and the method of determination of Puerarin by HPLC is basically the same.
