A study by the Ipsos Group (IPSOS) commissioned by the Food Supplement Society of Europe (FSE) concluded that consumers in the European Union generally understand how to take dietary supplements safely
About 13,200 adult consumers in 14 EU countries participated in a survey on dietary supplement use, and the results showed that dietary supplements are highly popular, with 88% of respondents using dietary supplements at some point in their lives , 93% of respondents had used dietary supplements in the past 12 months
