★ Water-based paint construction technology ★

★ The method to solve the burr ★

After the wood is impregnated with water, the water penetrates along the wood fiber tube and the micro gaps in the wood grain, causing it to expand and become larger, protruding the surface of the wood, and cannot be restored after drying.
Therefore, after the wood is coated with water-based paint, the wood grain protrusions, particles, and burrs will appear.

Seal the wood surface with wax-free shellac paint

This method is better than the water-wet method.
In addition to preventing particles and burrs from being coated with water-based paint, it can also increase the layering of the wood.
However, due to the color of shellac, it tends to give the wood a faint amber color.
Shellac paint back cover is very useful for old paint surfaces and wood surfaces that may have been contaminated by oils, release agents, and organosilicon compounds.
It can prevent water-based paint from causing shrinkage, fish eyes and other construction defects.
If you find the painted surface during the painting process, especially when the old paint surface has shrinkage and fisheyes after painting, you should wipe off the water-based paint that has been applied, seal it with dewaxed shellac paint after sanding, and then apply water-based paint.

Shellac paint is an alcohol solution of shellac, which can be applied by brushing or wiping.

Then apply a primer, and lightly sand it with 400# sandpaper after it dries.
Two primers should be applied to porous wood before sanding.
At this time, the first primer should be diluted with 5%-10% water before use.

★Technical features of spray booth system★

The construction environment of the water-based paint spray booth has a great influence on the spray quality, so the following conditions should be met:

(1) The brightness of the spray booth is bright and uniform;

(2) Suitable temperature and humidity;

(3) No dust;

(4) Good air supply system;

(5) Good Venturi slag removal system;

(6) Complete fire protection equipment.

According to past experience, for water-based paint to obtain good product quality, the following conditions must be met at the same time:

(1) Illumination should be controlled within 750~1500lx;

(2) The best temperature is 22~26℃, and the relative humidity is 55%~75% (65% is best);

(3) Ash particle control requires 5μm as 1, and 10μm as 0;

(4) The downward wind speed of the manual section is 0.

★Other matters needing attention★

Since the main component of water-based paint is water, the material used in the water-based paint circulation system must be stainless steel.

In order to prevent high-voltage static electricity from leaking to the main circulation pipeline, the water-based paint robot uses a plunger pump instead of a gear pump to disconnect the painting circuit from the main circulation pipeline to prevent danger.

The indoor construction in winter should be carried out under heating conditions, and the room temperature should be kept balanced.
It should not be lower than +10 degrees, and should not change suddenly.
Special personnel should be responsible for temperature measurement and opening and closing doors and windows to facilitate ventilation and remove moisture.
Add white water to the paint to prevent damp and whitening.
Keep ventilation for water-based varnish application.

The surface of the general wood to be painted should be initially sanded with 200# sandpaper and then sanded with 600# sandpaper to make it smooth.
Fine wood workpieces can be directly polished with 600# sandpaper.
