Basic information:
Female 58 years old
Disease Description:
Back pain, chest CT after the discovery of ground glass nodules, please give judgment
Image display and analysis:
Let's first look at ct images for 2021:
Left lung tip lesions, with a clearer overall contour but slightly pasty ground glass nodules on the lateral edges, are more likely to be considered for chronic inflammation with alveolar epithelial hyperplasia
The upper left lobe is well contoured, the density of the ground glass nodules is low, and the worst case is atypical hyperplasia is more likely
Pale polished glass nodules in the upper right lobe, with microvascular entry, consider atypical hyperplasia, the worst of which is carcinoma
Pale ground glass nodules with a length and diameter greater than 1 cm in the upper left lobe, low density, vascular welt, clear contour, clear tumor-lung boundary, consider atypical hyperplasia or carcinoma in situ, the former is more likely
Pale ground glass nodules in the upper left leaf, clear contour, slightly uneven density, great possibility of carcinoma in situ, can not exclude atypical hyperplasia (however, the two are actually in biological behavior, treatment, timing of intervention, danger, etc.
Pale ground glass nodules in the tongue segment of the upper left lobe, well-defined, alveolar epithelial hyperplasia or atypical hyperplasia; The lower right lobe is a very faint ground glass shadow, the contour is also clear, and the alveolar epithelial hyperplasia is likely
The right lower lobe ground glass nodule, uneven density, seems to see blood vessels entering, blood vessels appear to be a little thick, but the nodule edge is not clear, small, the risk is also low
The lower left lobe is a very light ground glass nodule, clearly contoured and not dense
The lower left lobe is slightly denser than the nodules, but very small, 2-3 mm, carcinoma in situ or atypical hyperplasia
Look again at August 2022:
We selected some of the more obvious lesions to see if there was any progression:
Left lung tip nodule, no significant change
The upper left lobe is nodule, very low density, and clear contour
The upper right lobe and the upper left lobe nodule, the overall contour is clear, the density is not high, the tumor is definitely in the category of tumors, but the current risk is still low, and there should be no obvious symptoms
Upper left nodule, like negative microvascular entry, but the overall density is low, the risk is not high
The two very faint nodules in the lower left are not sure what to consider in the end, anyway, there is no risk
Lesions with the highest density in the lower left, the size of which has also changed significantly, are still low-risk
Image Impressions:
The density of the two lungs is not very high, the highest density is a tiny nodule in the lower left lobe, and it is also the worst degree of carcinoma in situ, of course, even if it is really a micro-invasive adenocarcinoma, only 2-3 mm, there is no risk
My comments:
You have two lungs with multiple ground glass nodules, none of which currently have solid components, and compared with last November, some lesions seem to have a more obvious outline than before, but they are still not solid
