Eastman lotus spar imitation stone paint
Imitation stone paint has been a popular product in the architectural exterior wall decoration market in recent years, but to make a uniform and three-dimensional realistic stone-like paint project, in addition to the product quality, the decoration of the "dividing line" can be said to play an important beautification.
As the saying goes: "Three points for paint, seven points for construction.
Types of imitation stone paint dividing line
1 Conventional flat groove
The conventional method of dividing line is to carry out horizontal measurement and elastic line division after the closed bottom construction is dried, and the side close to the ink fountain line is painted with special paint for the dividing line, and after it is completely dried, a suitable masking tape is attached.
2 Putty shallow groove
After the putty has been batched, start to split the thread, paste the special foam masking tape, and then perform the second batch of putty scraping.
3 Embedded deep groove
When constructing cement mortar on the wall, pre-measure and plan, fill the aluminum alloy lines or plastic strips, and flatten the cement mortar layer as high as the lines, and form a deep groove effect after completion.
4 Glass glue imitation dry hanging
Put glass glue on the already finished dividing line to form an effect similar to dry hanging marble.
Common problems and solutions in dividing line construction
1.
Strong stickiness, the textured paper is easy to break
Reason: After the middle coat of the imitation stone paint is dried, there will be a lot of emulsion in the middle coat, and the emulsion will penetrate slightly when it adheres to the textured paper, which will affect the tensile strength and viscosity of the textured paper.
Solution: After the intermediate coating is sprayed, remove the textured paper in about 30 minutes under suitable temperature conditions.
2.
The black paint is taken up, and the grid line is broken
Reason: The adhesiveness of the textured paper is stronger than that of the external wall putty powder, which causes the black paint and putty powder to be taken up by the textured paper as a whole.
Solution:
(1) To improve the strength of putty, "putty flushing and maintenance" must be in place;
(2) After the black paint is completely dried, paste masking paper for protection;
(3) Use better quality textured paper for construction.
3.
The paint film is damaged and water seepage appears on the edge
Reason: After the middle coat of the imitation stone paint is dried, the paint film is thicker and more flexible, and the integrity of the imitation stone paint film is destroyed when the textured paper is torn off.
Due to thermal expansion and contraction, the expansion ratio of the paint film and the putty layer is quite different, resulting in the appearance of the edge of the grid line starting to lift and delamination.
solution:
(1) After the intermediate coat is sprayed, remove the grid line protection masking paper when it is not dry to ensure that the intermediate coat can be well bonded to the underlying material.
(2) The use of high-quality special putty powder for exterior walls and the flushing and maintenance process at the same time can improve the adhesion of the putty and ensure good adhesion between the paint film and the putty layer.
