Concerned about "her health", members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference called on cervical cancer prevention and control to gradually move forward

Dai Xiuying, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the Central Standing Committee of the Peasants and Workers Party, and former vice president of Ningxia Medical University, said that the survey found that the incidence of cervical cancer is closely related to the local health level and education.

CPPCC member and vice chairman of the Shanghai Municipal agrarian labor, Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Fudan University President Xu Jian Cong said the three levels of cervical cancer prevention, primary prevention is the cause of prevention, through vaccination, etc.

Recently, the National Health Commission announced its response to relevant suggestions and proposals, stating that it will continue to strengthen the monitoring of HPV vaccination and, on the basis of scientific argumentation, conduct overall research on the inclusion of vaccination in the national immunization plan.

Yi Luci, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, emphasized that the current HPV vaccination rate at the grassroots level is not high.

The committee members and experts called for the prevention and control of cervical cancer to be gradually moved forward under the guidance of the Healthy China Action to increase the HPV vaccination rate; the development of a comprehensive prevention and treatment path for cervical cancer in line with Chinese characteristics requires the National Health and Construction Commission and the Food and Drug Administration , The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Women’s Federation and other departments should work together to manage; it is necessary to further strengthen the science of cervical cancer prevention, advocate a healthy lifestyle, and continuously improve the public’s awareness and ability of prevention.
