    The World Bank recently warned in a report on climate and development in Cameroon that years of growing drought and heavy rains are threatening the food security
    of millions of people in the Far North, the website Stop Talking reported on November 7.
     
    The World Bank predicts that without effective measures to adapt to climate change, more than 2.
    6 million livestock (71% of the current total) are expected to be affected by drought each year by 2050, and more than 100,000 tons of crops, including 20,000 tons of maize, will be affected by climate shocks each year
