Alkyl allylamine backbones are widely present in drug molecules
The team used a cobalt oxime catalyst for the hydrogen extraction reaction (HAT) to realize the site-selective transfer of double bonds, which solved the difficult problem of site selectivity control; the reaction released hydrogen at the same time, avoiding the pre-activation of the substrate in the synthesis of allylamine.
