China Consumer Association: boycott the recycling of drug boxes and avoid the fake drugs to be listed in the market by borrowing "shells"

Most consumers know that there are lawbreakers buying high-end wine bottles to make fake wine In recent years, in hospitals, streets and other crowded places, there are often people who recycle high price medicine boxes at high prices These old high price medicine boxes can be sold to tens or even hundreds of yuan each Consumers often think that it's a kill two birds with one stone thing to sell the abandoned empty boxes to the buyer On the one hand, it solves the problem that empty boxes occupy unnecessary space, and on the other hand, it gets economic benefits However, this kind of behavior has actually buried a great potential safety hazard for consumers' own legitimate rights and interests In recent years, there have been many cases of fake drugs The illegal people often put the purchased medicine boxes into the fake drugs, and change the batch number, change the packaging and other ways to re market the fake drugs In 2011, Heilongjiang Province broke the fake medicine with a market value of 5 million yuan The lawbreakers published the information of purchasing the imported medicine kit for treating tumor (cancer) on the Internet They put the low-grade API produced by mixing salt water and other methods into the imported medicine kit, and then published the sales information on the Internet to sell the medicine at a high price In the same year, a counterfeit drug case with a market value of 2 billion yuan shocked the whole country, with basically the same methods The counterfeit drug market has formed a chain of interests, and the key to link each link is huge profits Sick consumers often believe that good medicine can cure the disease After being cheated by lawbreakers, they buy flour medicine with the help money In fact, the fake drugs in these second-hand medicine boxes basically have no curative effect The light ones delay treatment, the heavy ones cause other diseases, even endanger lives, and seriously infringe the personal safety of consumers Some high price medicine boxes may even enter the vicious circle of use, repurchase and reuse In view of the above situation, China Consumer Association reminds all sectors of the society to pay attention to the following matters in dealing with waste drug boxes: 1 Consumers should purchase drugs through regular channels to reduce the possibility of purchasing fake drugs 2 The consumer should not sell the discarded medicine box to any recycler, and should not harm others or yourself due to small profits It's better to destroy the discarded medicine packaging, especially those expensive imported medicine packaging, such as using scissors to cut a few knives or tear them up and then discard them 3 Hospitals and other units or individuals that have the conditions to contact the packaging of waste drugs shall do a good job in handling these articles to avoid being used by lawbreakers 4 It is suggested that pharmaceutical manufacturers should try to adopt packaging with distinct characteristics after use Meanwhile, it is hoped that relevant law enforcement departments will intensify the investigation and punishment of counterfeit drugs.
