Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease

Methods: HT22 cells were damaged by glutamic acid (Glu), HT22 cells transfected with siRNA Nrf2, and Aβ 1-42-induced WT and Nrf2-/-AD mice

Rhodiola rosealine increases cell viability in HT22 cells damaged by Glu:

Results: Rhodiola rosea increased cell viability and MMP levels in Glu-damaged HT22 cells, decreased lipid peroxidation and ROS levels, and increased expression

ConclusionThis table of salidroside exerts neuroprotective effects by inhibiting the iron death of neurons in Aβ 1-42-induced AD mice and Glu-damaged HT22 cells, and its mechanism is related
