The Swiss media Africa Finance News Agency reported on February 14, 2022 that according to the data of N' Kal ô , an African agricultural and food trade consulting platform, the output of cashew nuts in West Africa will reach 267,500 tons in 2021 , a year-on-year increase of 43%
.
It shows that the processing capacity of the cashew industry in the region has been significantly improved
.
Among them, Cote d'Ivoire has the largest cashew kernel output, reaching 144,500 tons, accounting for more than 50% of the regional output.
Other countries with large output are Nigeria 68,000 tons, Burkina Faso 17,000 tons, and Ghana 15,000 tons
