    Liu Qiong, deputy director of the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission, introduced that the "Implementation Plan" issued this time regards food conservation and anti-food waste as an important part of green consumption, and the first key task of the deployment is to "accelerate the improvement of food Green consumption level”, proposed to strengthen the whole chain of food conservation and loss reduction, clarify the responsibility requirements for various consumer entities, encourage green consumption, oppose extravagance and waste, and advocate a simple, moderate, green and low-carbon lifestyle


    In recent years, the National Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, has successively formulated and issued the "Work Plan for Food Conservation and Loss Reduction in the Whole Chain" and "Work Plan for Anti-Food Waste".


    Wang Bin, deputy director of the Department of Consumption Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, introduced that in response to food waste, the Ministry of Commerce has formulated policies and measures to stop food waste, and regulate the food consumption behavior of public institutions, catering service units, and social organizations


    In the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will further improve the working mechanism, establish a work ledger, regularly schedule progress, earnestly implement the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Green Consumption" and other documents, and urge local governments to follow the requirements of the Anti-Food Waste Law of the People's Republic of China.

    Wang Bin introduced that in terms of promoting the green development of e-commerce, the Ministry of Commerce has introduced measures to promote the green development of e-commerce enterprises, guiding e-commerce enterprises to save energy and increase efficiency, make green transformation of express packaging, and cultivate the green development ecology of e-commerce platforms

    "In order to facilitate consumers to identify and purchase green products, the State Administration for Market Regulation has issued a unified green product certification mark to drive the supply of green products through consumption


    Bo Yumin said that in order to promote the adoption of green certified products, the State Administration for Market Regulation, in coordination with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, the State Post Bureau and other departments, supports the introduction of green products by local governments in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai.


      How to promote the effective implementation of the "Implementation Plan"? Ha Zengyou said that, as the leading department of the inter-ministerial joint meeting to improve the consumption promotion system and mechanism, the National Development and Reform Commission will work with relevant departments to implement it in accordance with the "four intensifications"

    As the Spring Festival is approaching, e-commerce platforms, large shopping malls, supermarkets and other distribution companies are encouraged to set up sales areas for green and low-carbon products
