British companies develop variable temperature-cured epoxy pre-immersion materials.

Company Evolution, a UK pre-immersion supplier, has further expanded its product range by developing a variable temperature curing pre-immersion material called the Evoprep EPC200. Thanks to the newly developed toughened epoxy resin system, the product can be cured by vacuum bags, vacuum furnaces, non-hot press tanks or molding processes over a temperature range of 65-120 degrees C.
the company stressed that the Evopreg EPC200 pre-immersion material was developed primarily for manufacturers who used low-temperature non-hot-press tank molding processes for high surface finish

. This epoxy pre-immersion material has a flexible curing curve for rapid molding at high temperatures, reducing production cycles while maintaining high performance levels.
EPC series resins from Comcosite Evolution are widely used in enhancer bodies such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, aramid and natural fiber.
