    Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is often accompanied by painful symptoms and serious complications, and in recent years, the diagnosis of GERD has become increasingly common in children, and acid-suppressing drugs (ASMs) have been prescribed, including proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and histamine-2 receptor antagonists (H2RA).


    The objective of this study was to determine the incidence, prevalence, and relationship
    to key variables in the diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in children with nerve injury (NI).


    The primary outcomes were the incidence and prevalence of GERD diagnosis: (1) hospital-based ICD-10 code; (2) expert statements; (3) Distribution
    of acid-lowering drugs (ASM).
