Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is one of the most severe forms of stroke and has a high incidence, disability, and mortality rate
The team analyzed the data from the multicenter cerebral hemorrhage cohort CHEERY in China, used multivariate logistic regression analysis to determine the factors related to functional dependence (mRS scale ≥3) after ICH, and established an ADVISING scoring system
Results found that 9 variables were significantly related to functional dependence and were included in the ADVISING scoring system: age (≥ 60 years, 1 point), hematoma location (deep, 1 point), hematoma volume (30-60 mL, 1 score; >60 mL, 2 points), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (4-5, 1 score; 6-14, 2 points; 15-40, 3 points), aspartate aminotransferase (>40 U/L, 1 point), international standardized ratio (≥1.
In summary, ADVISING scores are a reliable tool for predicting functional dependence within 90 days of ICH
