Recently, the "Beijing Industrial Pollution Industries, Production Process Adjustment Exit and Equipment Elimination Catalog (2014 Edition)" was promulgated, and the 155 industries, production processes and equipment listed in the "Catalogue" will all be eliminated and exited before the end of 2017.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the "Catalogue" has a total of 155 items, covering 11 categories such as iron and steel, building materials, chemicals, textiles, and furniture.

The "Catalogue" covers the production of solvent-based inks containing benzene, modified starch coatings, antifouling coatings containing organic tin, coatings containing tributyltin and red lead, coatings containing DDT, and triple shrinkage of isocyanuric acid.

The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology stated that the "Catalogue" puts forward the withdrawal period for the listed industries, production processes and equipment.

For the projects listed in the Catalog, the relevant departments will not approve and approve new investment projects, new land use, and production permits.
