the importance of antioxidants
antioxidants help prevent thermooxidation of plastics in high-temperature processing environments. Oxidation can cause material shock strength and elongation to decrease, surface cracking and color change. At one or more stages of production, processing and use, almost all polymer materials are oxidized and degraded.
BASF's global production network and is the only supplier with production facilities for plastic additives in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
