Axalta launches a full range of water-based coating solutions for Spirax® automotive refinishes in the Chinese market

The brand-new Spirax water-based paint system uses Axalta’s innovative water-based technology, which combines water-based epoxy primer, water-based non-abrasive intermediate paint, water-based intermediate paint with existing water-based color paints and water-based varnishes to create a complete Auto refinish paints are all water-coated products.
This fully-coated integrated solution is easy to construct and dries faster.
It can achieve higher color matching accuracy and excellent durability while ensuring a beautiful paint surface, and fully meet the needs of auto repair shops.
More importantly, for the environment and health, compared with solvent-based systems on the market today, the new facilities will fast the whole system can effectively reduce the water refinish coating spray VOC emissions, in line with China's latest national standard "GB24409 - 2020 Environmental protection requirements of "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Vehicle Paints".
