(People's Daily) A few days ago, Australian Agriculture Minister David Littleproud said that the Australian government is working hard to export the country's peach and nectarine to the Vietnamese market on a pilot basis in the next few months
    .

Minister Littleprud pointed out that Vietnam is a priority market for Australia's high-end products, and the completion of technical negotiations between the two sides means that Australian peaches and spring peaches have the opportunity to enter the Vietnamese market
    .

    On the other hand, Mr.
Ian McAlister, chairman of the Australian Summerfruit Export Development Alliance, believes that the reopening of Vietnam’s market is a good opportunity for Australia to export fruit
    .
With appropriate preferential policies, the Vietnamese market is an important destination for Australian fruit
    .
Currently, Australia and Vietnam have signed the necessary protocols for Australia to export peaches and spring peaches to the Vietnamese market
    .

The chairman of the Australian Summerfruit Export Development Alliance revealed that a moderate amount of Australian peaches and spring peaches will be shipped to Vietnam in March and April this year, paving the way for a large number of Australian peaches and spring peaches to enter the Vietnamese market in December this year
    .
It is believed that, following the peaches and spring peaches, Australian plums will be able to enter the Vietnamese market as soon as possible
