On October 14, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of South Korea announced that the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety evaluated 13 overseas production enterprises of imported kimchi in accordance with the second phase of the obligation application plan of the food safety management certification standard (referred to as "HACCP") this year, and the results showed that 13 enterprises met the standards and were certified as "enterprises applicable to imported food safety management certification standards"
.

The certification assessment was conducted
in accordance with the Business Agreement on the Application of HACCP Obligations Related to Imported Kimchi signed in September 2021 with the State Administration for Market Regulation of China, the main exporting country of imported kimchi.

At the same time, the three overseas production companies that obtained HACCP certification last year confirmed that all operations
are HACCP compliant based on the results of regular surveys and evaluations of whether HACCP complies with the standards.
