Objectives : Psoriasis has been documented in pediatric patients following the use of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors (TNFi) , but the association of TNFi with psoriasis in juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) has not been as strong as in children As evidenced by large prospective clinical observations such as the Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Consortium

Methods: De-identified data were obtained from the CARRA registry

Results: A total of 8225 patients were included, and the median follow-up time was 3.

Conclusions: In a large prospective registry of patients with JIA , we observed a nearly three-fold increase in psoriasis risk following TNFi exposure .
