It was learned from the Henan Huixian Municipal Government website that at about 7:50 on October 25, 2019, a mixed solvent storage tank in the Yongda Chemical Plant of Huqiao Office in Huixian City exploded and one person died in the accident.
After the accident, the main leaders of Huixian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, as well as the heads of relevant departments such as Huqiao Office, Public Security, Emergency Management, Market Supervision, Ecological Environment, Health and Health Commission, rushed to the scene as soon as possible, and immediately launched the "Three Synchronizations" Disposal plan.
The cause of the accident is under further investigation.
After testing by the ecological environment department, the accident did not affect the surrounding environment.
