American coffee chain Starbucks decides to leave the Russian market

Russian Satellite News Agency, Moscow, May 2 The world's largest coffee chain , Starbucks , said in a press release that the company has finally decided to leave the Russian mark.

"Starbucks has taken the final decision (withdrawing from Russia - editor's note) to no longer operate under this brand in the market," the release sa.

In early March, Starbucks Corp announced it was suspending operations in Russia and closing its coffee sho.

At the same time, Starbucks noted that it will continue to pay its 2,000 employees in Russia for six months and provide them with assistance in transferring to other positions outside the compa.

Starbucks was established in Seattle, USA in 1971 and operates more than 32,000 coffee shops around the wor.
