So far, drug intervention has not been successful in treating children with functional abdominal pain (FAP).
child
The study included 117 children with FAP between the ages of 6 and 18 who were randomized to receive bupirone or placebo for 4 weeks, and the dose was adjusted according to age.
The results showed that 95 patients completed 4 weeks of treatment (48 and 47 in the bupiron group and 47 in the placebo group, respectively).
In summary, the results of the study show that bosepilone can effectively improve the pain and related psychological symptoms of children's FAP, including depressive symptoms, anxiety, somatization and sleep disorders, but it has no superiority compared with placebo.
