Primary progressive aphasia (PPA) is a clinical dementia syndrome characterized by an isolated defect in understanding or expressing language at the beginning and will decline over time.
This ambiguity makes it difficult for people to make realistic expectations about the rate of disease progression, which affects the family’s ability to formulate appropriate care plans to meet these challenges.
And use the Activity of Daily Living Questionnaire (ADLQ) to measure functional decline, the questionnaire is designed to assess the daily function of dementia patients.
Given that the atrophy patterns of suspected AD pathology reported in the PPA are more extensive, it is beneficial to predict:
