On June 15th, Air Chemicals announced the formation of a joint venture called East Coast Nitrogen (ECN) with Linde North America, and will build a world-class air separation/industrial gas liquefaction plant with a daily output of 1,100 tons in Glenmont, New York.

The new plant will invest 60 million U.

dollars to produce liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid oxygen (LOX) and liquid argon (LAR), and this plant using the latest air chemical technology will be constructed by Air Chemical, and it is planned to be commercialized in December 2018 Operations

The new plant will be built on the existing Glenmont Air Chemicals facility, and the industrial gas will be independently supplied to the market by Air Chemicals and Linde

The output products will be supplied to multiple markets in New York and New England, including chemicals, food, electronics, primary materials, metal processing, health and medical, power generation, and glass
