Agilent's portfolio of detection instruments gives researchers more freedom to experiment

Beijing, March 5, 2018 - Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A) and Imperial College London today signed a strategic scientific collaboration agreement that combines Agilent's leading analytical technology with Imperial College's outstanding researchers

Agilent's portfolio of detection instruments will be housed at Imperial's Molecular Science Research Center on the White City campus, which is scheduled to open by the end of this year

Mike McMullen, President and CEO of Agilent, said: "Imperial College London plays an important role in driving greater understanding of the world through the guidance and research of its own laboratories

Professor Alice Gast, Vice-Chancellor of Imperial College, said: “The new Imperial College partnership with Agilent is a significant step forward in our increased collaboration with industry

The partnership between Imperial College London and Agilent is expected to facilitate further collaborative projects that will benefit both parties while advancing cutting-edge research

Tony Cass, professor of chemical biology in the Department of Chemistry and School of Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College, has been named Head of Agilent's Detection Instrumentation Portfolio
